George George House

During the Battle of Gettysburg, this house belonged to a fellow named George George - yes he had the same first and last name! The house entered the annals of history after the deceased body of Union General John F. Reynolds was brought here on July 1, 1863. Sadly, Reynolds was the highest ranking officer to die during the battle.
